“Have you reached the end of your known world? is a work by de.coherence (Donia Jornod and Jeremy Ratib) that explores the importance of parallel narratives in shaping how we perceive and engage with the world. In this project, the artists investigate the fluid relationship between the human body and its natural environment, challenging fixed definitions of the “organic” and suggesting that even our understanding of ecology is an epistemological construct, deeply shaped by socio-political and cultural legacies. In the streets of Zürich, enigmatic posters appear, disguised as advertisements for a fictional company, displayed on the sides of a delivery truck. Each carries cryptic slogans and visual codes. A QR code on the posters acts as a portal, leading the viewer into a virtual parallel reality, a conceptual interstice where conventional boundaries dissolve and new possibilities for perception emerge.”
